This web site is set up by Dr Mike Jackson; an ex-scientist, semi retired, semi house husband, environmental activist, volunteer, renewable energy enthusiast and general potterer about. It is intended as a humorous comment on the practice of carbon off-setting, where people pay for other people to be responsible for their own carbon emissions. Any money raised will be donated to relevant dieting or sport groups after being subject to an administration fee to cover Dr Mike's bills for red wine, newspapers and car repairs etc.
